19 students from 12 different companies and from 3 countries has been graduated for the Module Managing Information and Knowledge. Present at the garaduation Ceremony was Head of University of Stavanger, Aslaug Mikkelsen, toghether with associate Professor Bjarte Ravndal, responsible for the Study Program at the University, and Associate Professor Sigbjørn B. Pedersen. ECIM was represented by Jane McConnell, Landmark. Jane is chairman of the ECIM Education Work Group. - It has taken a while to make this happen, and now we are proud for beeing here taking part in the first Graduation Ceremony for the first group of students graduated from the program. Jane also wish to thank everybody that has contributed to making this happen. The process has gone on for about three years, originally initiated and governed by Eldar Bjørge, StatoilHydro.
ECIM IME Workgroup invites to a workshop focusing on licence lifecycles. Date is not confirmed. Invitation will be sent out when date and program is settled.
ECIM E&P Annual Conference and User Meeting held in Haugesund has become the most important conference for petroleum data management and information management in the E&P industry. The 2011 conference was again successful with more than 300 satisfied attendees representing over 100 companies and 21 countries. Please find more info about the 2012 conference here.
