The ECIM Forum workshop, Data Quality Management, held in Aberdeen in June 2009, was very successful. ECIM has an intension to arrange a few workshops on annual basis, focusing on spesifc themes. A previous workshop was held in Stavanger in March, focusing on "Managing Petrel Projects - Alternative Approaches".
More than 60 attendees followed the half day workshop was held in Måltidets Hus on March 2009. The theme was: Managing Petrel Projects - Alternative approaches
On November 12th. 2008, a graduation Ceremony was held at University of Stavanger for the students having finished the Module - Managing Information and Knowledge - which is one out of three modules in the Information Management Study Program for IM Professionals at University of Stavanger.
The 2009 ECIM User Meeting and Conference in Haugesund was again a successful event
ECIM E&P Annual Conference and User Meeting held in Haugesund has become the most important conference for petroleum data management and information management in the E&P industry. The 2010 conference was the best ever. we had some fantastic three days together with more than 320 attendees representing over 100 companies and 21 countries.
