Successful ECIM 2010 conference in Haugesund
Registration for the 2010 edition of Norway's Expert Center for Information Management (ECIM) E&P information management conference in Haugesund reached over 330 participants, making ECIM the largest upstream data conference in Europe. International (non-Norwegian) participants made up 45% of the attendees.
Information & Knowledge Management Courses at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen

Successful ECIM Forum Workshop: Data Quality Management
The ECIM Forum workshop, Data Quality Management, held in Aberdeen in June 2009, was very successful. ECIM has an intension to arrange a few workshops on annual basis, focusing on spesifc themes. A previous workshop was held in Stavanger in March, focusing on "Managing Petrel Projects - Alternative Approaches".

New Students graduated from Information Management Study Program at UIS
On November 12th. 2008, a graduation Ceremony was held at University of Stavanger for the students having finished the Module - Managing Information and Knowledge - which is one out of three modules in the Information Management Study Program for IM Professionals at University of Stavanger.

June 12 (NEW DATE): Introduction to the licence lifecycle.
ECIM IME Workgroup invites to a workshop focusing on licence lifecycles. Date is not confirmed. Invitation will be sent out when date and program is settled.
September 10-12: ECIM2012 E&P IM Conference and User Meeting in Haugesund.
ECIM E&P Annual Conference and User Meeting held in Haugesund has become the most important conference for petroleum data management and information management in the E&P industry. The 2011 conference was again successful with more than 300 satisfied attendees representing over 100 companies and 21 countries. Please find more info about the 2012 conference here.
