With a rapidly changing external environment as well as technological advances, traditional Energy companies find themselves in a need to radically change the way they work to remain attractive to shareholders, customers and society, and with this comes new challenges in terms of how we think about data, information, integration and speed of adapting and implementing change.

Marianne has a MSc in Reservoir Engineering from Texas A&M University and a MBA from Rotterdam School of Management. She has 20 years of experience in the energy industry and has served on the Norske Shell Leadership team for the past 6 years, and recently moved to a new global role at the Shell E&P International, working on digitalization of the Upstream business.
