The "ECIM 2012" E&P Data and Information Management Conference and User Meeting will be held in Rica Maritim Hotel, starting Monday afternoon September 10th until Wednesday 12th early afternoon.

This annual event has emerged to be the most substantial conference and meeting place in Europe for IM professionals.
More than 320 participants joined the last year conference. The ECIM E&P Data and Information Management Conference is famous for its workshops and it's "Best Practice" presentations from the E&P industry.
The conference starts on monday and ends by late lunch on wednesday. The conference days are busy, the atmosphere is relaxing, and we are staying at a very nice hotel and conference facilities in Haugesund, just north of Stavanger.

Call for Paper.
Conference committee did send out Call for Paper in March, and is now working with completing the program. Call for Paper included invitation for papers for each of the workstreams including workstream for Vendor & Services, and the plenay sessions. We invite you to submit papers or suggestions to interesting presenters and topics for the conference. Please do not hesitate to contact us. for ant input, tips and suggestions, just send us an email with the name of presenter, prelimenary title of the presentation and/or a short description, and sufficient contact details.
This conference along with all ECIM activities are non-profit based. Conference speakers including all committees and exhibition staff are therefor asked to register for the conference under the terms and condtions valid for the participants.
Vendors and exhibition space.
Besides the traditional Landmark Room and Schlumberger Room which include a full workstream for each, we have a workstream dedicated for Vendors and Services. There will also be made available a limited exhibition space in the lobby area.
As for previous years, several social and professional networking activities will be arranged on monday September 10th. Further details will follow, including information on how to register for these activities.

Conference Fee for participants registered before August 20th. is NOK 5.150,- ex. VAT. For registrations done after August 20th., the conference fee is NOK 6.250,- ex. VAT. Last date for registration is set to September 5th. We reserve the right to change this date in case of full booked conference or hotel capasities. The conference fee includes documentation, lunch tuesday and wednesday, "Ice Breaker" on monday, and Conference Dinner at tuesday evening.
Conference participants will have access to special rates for accomodations when making the hotel booking via the conference registration. The special rates will be available for the number of days you prefer to stay for this conference, and is not limited for the period 10th to 12th. of September. Conference rates for single room is NOK 1.250,- and for double room (2 persons) NOK 1.790,- incl. VAT. Breakfast is included.
ECIM'2012 Program Committee and the ECIM organization are responsible for planning and production of the conference. Gyro Conference is handling the conference registration and payments.
