Susan Lamb a qualified UK Solicitor, currently leads the global information lifecycle management compliance programme for the retention and disposal of all Shell Group information. She is the Shell Group records management SME ensuring governance, policy review, training, stakeholder engagement, communications and the supporting Group IT strategy. As Product Owner for Microsoft Purview, she led the successful implementation of the 5 year Legal/ IT sponsored programme for the implementation of retention and disposal policies for the Shell Group. She is also passionate about mental wellbeing and leads the Care in Legal Programme for Shell Legal.

 

Atle Skjekkeland is an information management innovator and educator.  While working for the association AIIM, he designed and launched the AIIM conference, Certificate programs, and CIP certification. He also served several years as General Secretary for the EU DLM Forum managing the Moreq archiving standard. Atle is currently the CEO of Infotechtion, a consulting firm specializing in information governance and protection for Microsoft 365 and beyond with offices and staff in the US, EU, UK, and India.

 

08:55  Subsurface Dashboards for Factory Drilling: Integrating OSDU and Corporate Laboratory Data

- James Tomlinson, VP Data Solutions, Ikon Science

TotalEnergies is developing fields in the Albertine basin in Uganda, drilling around 400 wells over 4-5 years and require visibility into the subsurface data being produced for a wide range of subsurface professionals. This paper presents a case study of building a subsurface synthesis and visualisation integrating data that is being stored in OSDU data platform of Uganda along with rock and fluid data which is being processed by TotalEnergies global laboratories.

He comes from a background of drilling engineering and has been working with digitalization projects since the start of his career. From working with digitalization and technology initiatives Andreas has become a firm believer that nnovation can only be successful if it is supported by a strong data foundation.

The OSDU Community Implementation project will provide a common implementation of the OSDU platform that can be built, tested, and released by the community, without relying on any commercial cloud providers or offerings.

 

Chad Brockman is a Principal Architect at Google Cloud. He has 30+ years of experience building Oil & Gas software products. Chad has served on the Google Cloud OSDU steering committee for 3 years.

She spends her days at AWS tackling industry challenges by diving deep, thinking about how to drive value across geoscience domains, and bringing forward innovative solutions from our growing ISV community. She is passionate about change management and how data, new technologies, and people can drive value across the industry.

 

Mark Wiseman is a Principal Director in Accenture’s Energy Industry Practice.  His two primary roles are Global Lead for OSDU on AWS under the AABG partnership and Upstream Solutions Consultant for North and South America.

Accountable for Energy client engagements with multiple companies - Focus on Upstream and Subsurface Workflows, Apps and Data Management - Expanding the OSDU partner ecosystem and evolving end-to-end business workflows. 

Mark has 33 years experience within Oil & Gas (Upstream, Midstream, OFES), Industrial Products, Core Analysis and Business Solutions Consultancy.

12:25  Asset Digital Twin

It’s time to harness the full potential of data to describe and build a process and manage an asset digital twin. this session will help provide a framework based on OSDU on how to build an asset digital twin and show it in action with both interoperability at its core and an ecosystem that can help bring it to bear. The presentation also provides a step by step approach to implement such a technology. 

 

Chandra Yeleshwarapu is Senior Director, Products, Customer Experience, and Business Development. His responsibilities include product strategy, business development, marketing, customer success, and delivering the digital tools for our industry, OpenEarth® community and platform, iEnergy® Cloud, SmartDigital® innovation services and artificial intelligence and machine learning with the Big Data Center of Excellence (CoE).
